e.g 1) Trees give us fruits. They also

We can combine these two sentences using as well as.
Ans-Trees give us fruits as well as shade.
1) He owns a car. He owns a motorbike.
Ans- He owns a car as well as
a motorbike.

Tips:- 1) प्रथम वाक्यातील समान भाग घेणे
2) वाक्यातील भिन्न कर्म
किवा भाग as well as ने जोडणे.
3) वाक्यात too असेल तर लोप
करणे.
When
we combine two subjects with as well as, the verb is likely to be
singular if the first subject is singular.
¨ Priya is studying for the test.
Her friends are studying for the test.
® Priya as well as her friends
is studying for the test.
¨ The moon gives us light at night.
The stars also give us light.
® The moon as well as the stars
gives us light at night.
