I)
Affirmative
Sentence:-
ज्या वाक्यात क्रियेचा होकार दर्शवलेला असतो,
त्या वाक्याला होकारार्थी वाक्य असे म्हणतात.
e.g. Raju is tall. *Ramesh is brave and bold.
¨ नियम:- 1.होकारार्थी
वाक्य बनविताना नकारार्थी शब्द काढून टाकतात.
(नकारदर्शक शब्द-no, not, none,
nothing,never, nor, neither….nor, nobody, no one,neither, no sooner..than.)
2. वाक्यातील
विशेषणाच्या/नामाच्या विरुद्ध अर्थाचा शब्द वापरतात.
e.g.I have never succeeded.
® I have always
failed.

II)
Negative
Sentence:-
ज्या वाक्यात क्रियेचा नकार दर्शवलेला असतो, त्या वाक्याला नकारार्थी वाक्य असे म्हणतात
e.g. Raju is not tall. किवा Raju is not
short. *It is not false.
Negative sentence दोन प्रकारे
केले जाते.
1.
अर्थात बदल न करता .
2.
अर्थात बदल करून.
¨ अर्थात बदल
करून.
e.g. I am your friend.
® I am not your friend.

He
is lucky.
® ……………………
¨ अर्थामध्ये
बदल न करता.
e.g. I am your friend.
® I am not your enemy.
दिलेल्या होकारथी वाक्यामध्ये सा.क्रियापादानंतर not चा
वापर करतात.मूळ वाक्यातील विशेषणाच्या/नामाच्या विरुद्ध अर्थाचा शब्द वापरतात.

Eg:

Ans: He did not loss the match.
2)He is not poor.(Make it affirmative).
Ans: He is rich.

By using hardly, fail to, uanble:
Eg:

He
did not practice the sums.
Ans: He hardly practiced the sums.
Ans: He failed to practice the sums.
Ans: He was unable
to practice the sums.

Mr.
Bhangare could not attain the party.
Ans: Mr. Bhangre hardly attained the
party.
Ans: Mr. Bhangare failed to attain the
party.
Ans: Mr. Bhangare was unable to attain the party.
v By using preffix
like : un,im,mis,in,dis:
Eg:1)
It is not correct.
Ans: It is incorrect.
2)
I did not like this.
Ans: I dislike this.
